About the Client
Wild for the World is a YouTube channel founded by two wildlife producers with a mission to build a global community united by a love for nature. Their goal is to entertain and educate audiences about the wonders of the natural world.

The Brief
The client needed a logo, brand style and a set of custom illustrations tailored primarily for their YouTube channel. The branding had to feel inclusive, appealing to a wide age range, and versatile enough to be used across videos, merchandise, websites, and printed materials.
Concept work
Concepts
The logo had to reflect the channel’s themes of nature and inclusivity while maintaining a professional and engaging aesthetic. The client also asked for it to include some sort of visual reference to nature / animals. From there I began by developing logo concepts and versions which could adapt to various uses, from digital platforms to physical merchandise.
Once the logo direction was finalised, I worked on establishing the illustration style. Inspired by texture, paper collage and organic themes, and working through early concepts of style options, I created a mood board (see above) to show how the logo and illustrations could work together.

Custom Illustrations
I designed a collection of illustrations, including mammals, birds, insects, sea creatures, and complementary foliage and scenery elements.
The set was designed to allow flexibility, enabling the client to mix and match elements to create their own compositions.

Brand Guidelines
To ensure consistency, I compiled a brand guideline document outlining the logo usage, typography, color palette, and illustration application. This provided a clear framework for the client to maintain their brand identity.

YouTube Banner
The final deliverable was a custom YouTube banner that, as requested by the client, showcased most of the set of animals in a vibrant scene, setting the tone for their channel’s visual identity.
